Alerts let you choose how and when you want to be reminded before a seasonal window begins — so you’re notified instead of having to check manually.

Real-world example
Set a 3-day lead time and choose to be alerted for your watchlist stocks. You’ll be reminded a few days before each relevant seasonal pattern starts.
Step-by-step
- 1Open the Alerts page from the menu.
- 2Enter the email you want notifications sent to.
- 3Choose a lead time — how many days before a pattern starts to be notified.
- 4Pick your sources: alerts from your Watchlist and/or your Saved Patterns.
- 5Save your preferences.
What to expect & how to read it
Your alert preferences are stored to your account. Once delivery is enabled, you’ll receive a reminder ahead of each qualifying seasonal window.
Common mistakes to avoid
- ✕ Setting the lead time too short to act on (1 day may not be enough).
- ✕ Expecting alerts for stocks you haven’t added to your watchlist or saved patterns.
Tips for beginners
- ✓ A 3–5 day lead time is a good default — enough notice without being too early.
- ✓ Combine alerts with a focused watchlist so you only hear about names you care about.
